Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice has been in operation in Brazoria county since October 2002, Medicare certified since April 2003. We were able to provide $18,000 worth of free care in 2003 for our friends and neighbors in need and would like to be able to increase that amount in the future.

Our Hospice is different from the other Hospices in many ways. We are not United Way Funded. We are the only Hospice that services only Brazoria County and is staffed solely with Brazoria County Residents. We pride ourselves in getting to our patients and families within 30 minutes of their call for help. We have a Thrift Shop where our Neighbors can feel good bringing their gently used items to help others. We sell them to our friends and neighbors at a very reasonable price that is then used to provide Hospice Services for those in the community that need Hospice and do not have Insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. We are also not planning on ever growing outside this county. Our growth will remain here, providing the services that are needed here at a price we can all afford.
